Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and result-oriented sales professional to drive business growth for our power tools division across the North East market. The role will focus on developing and managing dealer/sub-dealer networks, expanding trade sales, and generating demand from end users to support channel growth.

 

 

 

 

Job Features

Channel / Trade Sales

  • Develop and manage dealer and sub-dealer network across assigned North East territory
  • Appoint new channel partners in uncovered markets
  • Drive primary and secondary sales through dealer network
  • Ensure stock availability, product visibility, and scheme execution at trade counters
  • Monitor dealer performance and support them in achieving sales targets

End User Business Development

  • Generate demand among contractors, workshops, fabricators, industrial users, garages, project sites, and institutional customers
  • Conduct product demonstrations and application-based selling
  • Create pull-through demand to support dealer sales
  • Market Expansion
  • Identify new market opportunities across cities/towns in North East
  • Expand market penetration in key districts and trade clusters
  • Execute sales and promotional activities in assigned territory
  • Relationship Management
  • Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key influencers
  • Resolve channel/customer issues promptly
  • Maintain regular engagement with key accounts and large users

Reporting & MIS

  • Submit daily/weekly visit reports and sales updates
  • Track collections and payment follow-up where applicable
  • Maintain sales pipeline and territory development plans

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Graduate / Diploma / Technical Qualification preferred

Experience

  • 3–7 years of sales experience in one or more of the following industries:
  • Power Tools
  • Hand Tools / Hardware
  • Welding Equipment / Consumables
  • Industrial Products / Components
  • Auto Components / Garage Equipment
  • Building Materials / Construction Products
  • Electrical / Industrial Distribution
